What these specs mean

Core thickness
A mid-thickness core (about 14 to 15 mm) sits between the two common builds: a bit more pop than 16 mm, a bit more cushion than 13 mm.
Core material
Nomex honeycomb is a hard, paper-based aramid core. It is typically louder and more powerful than polypropylene, with less cushioning for touch shots.
Face
Carbon fiber faces are stiff and light, generally favoring control and a consistent response.

These are typical tendencies of each construction. Weight, balance, surface treatment and each brand's specific materials also change how a paddle plays.

Pro tour legality (UPA-A)
