Our mission
PickleHQ exists to help every pickleball player choose the right gear and get better at the game, using clear, data-backed information instead of hype.
Pickleball has grown faster than the information around it. There are now thousands of approved paddles, each marketed with its own vocabulary, and buying advice is often hard to separate from advertising. Rules and rating systems confuse new players. We think players deserve one place where the facts are organized, sourced and explained plainly.
What we're building
- A complete paddle database. Every paddle on the USA Pickleball approved list, with certification status and the specs that change how a paddle plays.
- Tools that save time. A comparison tool, a Paddle Finder and a certification checker.
- Guides from first game to tournament. Rules, beginner guidance, skill levels and a glossary, written to be accurate and easy to follow.
Independent by design
PickleHQ is not owned by, funded by or affiliated with any paddle brand, retailer or governing body. No manufacturer reviews our content before it's published, and no one can pay for a higher ranking or a place on one of our lists.
We do earn money through affiliate links: when you buy through some of our links, a retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. That income keeps the site free, and it never decides what we recommend. Read our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy for the details.
How we work
Our data starts with official certification records and is checked against manufacturer specifications. We say where every number comes from and correct mistakes quickly. Our full methodology is on How We Test.
