The short version
Some links on PickleHQ are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer or brand. You pay the same price whether you use our link or not, and the commission never influences which products we rank, recommend or feature.
Our relationships
We may participate in affiliate programs run by paddle brands, sporting goods retailers and affiliate networks. PickleHQ may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program; as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
How we keep it honest
- We evaluate products on their specs, certification status and (where tested) hands-on performance before considering where they're sold.
- Commission rates are never a factor in rankings, "best of" lists or the Paddle Finder.
- We recommend products we don't earn from when they're the better choice.
- No brand or retailer can pay for placement in our editorial content.
- Pages that contain affiliate links display a disclosure near the top.
Why we do this
Building and maintaining a complete paddle database and testing gear costs money. Affiliate commissions let us keep PickleHQ free to read, without paywalls, and without selling rankings.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). Learn more about our standards in our editorial policy and how we test.
