What these specs mean

Core thickness: Thinner cores (about 13 mm and under) typically feel firmer and send the ball off the face faster: more power and a crisper feel, with less touch on soft shots.
Core material: Polypropylene honeycomb is the most widely used core. The plastic cells absorb impact, giving a quiet, soft and forgiving feel that suits control and touch.
Face: Fiberglass faces flex more than carbon, which usually adds pop and power at the cost of some control.
Combination: A thin honeycomb core is a classic power build: firm and fast off the face, with less dwell time for touch shots.
